Catherine and I are honoured to be Club Captains for 2025 and look forward to
welcoming you to Upchurch River Valley Golf Club.

Upchurch is a friendly and inclusive club for all golfers, regardless of age, experience or
handicap, with a thriving men’s, ladies, seniors and junior sections.
We are proud to have an excellent and challenging course which is kept in top
condition by a team of greens staff led by our Head Greenkeeper Jason. Whilst our
clubhouse provides a great environment to relax for golfers and non-golfers alike.
There is a fully stocked pro shop for all of your golfing needs as well as an on site
driving range

Our goal during our Captaincy is to maintain the Club's ethos of being open and
inclusive to all members, both new and old and to remind all that golf is FUN and
should be played in a fair and sporting manner.

Our chosen charity is The Wisdom Hospice, Rochester, whose mission is to make each
day count. They provide palliative care services for adults, children and families who
are living with life-limiting conditions, as well as family bereavement support.
With our reputation for inclusivity and friendliness, we invite you to join us and
experience what we consider to be both a relaxed and warm environment.

Cath and I look forward to seeing you all on the course or in the clubhouse, supporting
teams and enjoying events throughout the year.
